Ten Akshobhya & Eight Surgatha Stupas


This tsa tsa shows ten representations of the Tathagata Buddha Akshobhya and eight Surgata Stupas right and left.

The left hand of Akshobhya in his lap in Dhayana mudra, his right hand makes the gesture of touching the earth [Bhumisparsa]. Each Akshobhya sits on a single layered lotus thron.

An interesting detail is the arrangement of the four elephants running to the left at the bottom, forming the throne animals of Akshobhya.
