Ten Akshobhya & Eight Surgatha Stupas


This tsa tsa shows ten representations of the Tathagata Buddha Akshobhya and the eight different Sugata Stupas right and left.

The left hand of Akshobhya in his lap in Dhayana mudra, his right hand makes the gesture of touching the earth [Bhumisparsa]. Each Akshobhya sits on a single layered lotus thron.

The four elephants running to the left at the bottom are an interesting detail. They are the throne animals assigned to Akshobhya.
