Very old Bodhisattva Manjushri Tsa Tsa

Front Side Side View [1] Side View [2]

This very old tsa tsa shows the Bodhisattva of Wisdom Manjushri

He sits on a simple lotus throne. In his right hand he holds his sword of knowledge, with which he cuts through the roots of ignorance. The attribute in his left is unfortunately no longer recognizable today.

The heavily weathered, unreadable inscription suggests a script which is similar to the Indian Kutila script used in the 8th - 12th century.
