Due to a recent U.S. regulation, customs regulations for imports into the U.S. have changed. Private senders may continue to send gifts to private individuals with a value of up to $100 per shipment and documents via postal mail to the U.S. and the U.S. customs territory of Puerto Rico as usual. Please ensure that:
- the total value of the goods does not exceed $100 / €85
- the contents of the gift shipment are declared as »Gift« in accordance with U.S. import regulations, or that documents are marked as such
- Due to the new U.S. customs regulations regarding the shipment of goods by mail, it is no longer possible to send gifts with a value exceeding 100 USD or commercial goods until further notice.
