Tibetan Conch Shell [2]

- With Tripod Stand -

1 2 3 4 5 6

Due to its size this conch on a tripod stand shell was probably not used as a horn by monks. Instead, it was used as symbol on a Buddhist altar in a monastery or of inside a private house.

The shell is genuine, it is not a model. It is in reasonable condition, it has a good patina and signs of use and age.

Age: Probably 19th century
