The lunar disk is a symbol of emptiness. The new and pure cosmos is created on this disk. The last demons have been expelled.
At the top a the white Buddha Vairocana appears. To his the right we see Vajrasattva as a Bodhisattva and left the Vajrasattva again his angry form. He chases away the last demons at the bottom.
