Full  View: Detail 1: As for the cases when the teaching of these Four Tantras Is to be kept secret or cherished. Since an unworthy recipient is like lion's milk kept in a poor container.: Detail 2: The teachings should not be given to those who keep secret the identity of their master: Detail 3: The teachings should not be given to those who promote their own greatness Detail 4: The teachings should not be given to those who steal the instructions of medical science or speak deviously by some means. Detail 5: The teachings should not be given to those who lack gratitude Detail 6:The teachings should not be given to those who extort wealth Detail 7: The teachings should not be given to those who are bound by pride and arrogance Detail 8: The teachings should not be given to those who are without compassion Detail 9: The teachings should not be given to those who cling above all to this life Detail 10: The teachings should not be given to those who employ soft words and seductive techniques Detail 11: Teaching should be retained from such persons, just as a gemstone is held fast in the throat of a sea-monster Detail 12: This medical science should not be transmitted to those who engage in ritual murder Detail 13: This medical science should not be transmitted to those who invoke the protectors who bring hailstones Detail 14: This medical science should not be transmitted to those who practice sorcery by negative exorcism Detail 15: This medical science should not be transmitted to those who compound poisons Detail 16: This medical science should not be transmitted to those political enemies who teach the Drukpa doctrines Detail 17: This medical science should not be transmitted to those who practice the Bon doctrines of Shenrap, including female prophets Detail 18: This medical science should not be transmitted to those who perform the alchemical transmutation of iron into gold Detail 19: This medical science should not be transmitted to those who engage in mundane disputations, as indicated here Detail 20: This medical science should not be transmitted to those who engage in conventional sophistry Detail 21: By propagating these medical teachings among unworthy recipients, the commitments will degenerate and thereby oneself and others in their next life will fall into evil existences Detail 22: The teaching should be given to those who maintain their commitments and thus venerate the guru on the crown of the head Detail 23: The teaching should be given to those who can practice liberality unstintingly with respect to wealth and life itself Detail 24: The teaching should be given to those who can differentiate contradictions in word and meaning through their great discriminative awareness and who study the texts with diligence by night Detail 25:The teaching should be given to those who emphasise activity on behalf of others through their great enlightened mind Detail 26: The teaching should be given to those who rely directly on the doctrine Detail 27: The teaching should be given to those who are without deceit Detail 28: On behalf of these worthy recipients, the hermit sage Vidyajnana makes the following dedications and prayers of aspiration: May such persons become powerful in speech and may they accumulate silken canopies, symbolic of their wealth and property Detail 29: May such persons be respected by living beings Detail 30: May such persons obtain or possessglory and high reputation Detail 31: In a buddhafield surrounded by gods and goddesses holding parasols and silken banners may their bodies dissolve into the light body, whereby in the subsequent life, they accomplish the level of enlightenment and attain buddhahood in the buddha field of Bhaisajyaguru, as indicated here Detail 32: In conclusion, Manasija turns into rays of light whichare absorbed into the tongue of Bhaisajyaguru Detail 33: Vidyajnana also turns into rays of light which are absorbedinto the secret centre of Bhaisajyaguru
