Ushnisha Sitatapatra, the goddess of the victorious white parasol, is a powerful independent deity. She manifests this power with her thousand faces, thousand arms. And thousand legs. Each face has three eyes, and the palm of each hand and the sole of each foot has its own eye. [...]
Thousand-Armed Ushnisha Sitatapatra is a special form of the goddess Tara, a female counterpart of the thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara.
Her iconography is probably one of the most complex in the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon. The goddess has many heads and legs as she has arms. She tramples on human beings, birds and animals.
She symbolize egocentric existence. She holds a victory banner in front of he chest in her two main hands, although according to the iconographic canon, her main attribute is an umbrella.
