Monastery Wall Painting Restoration
Many parts of Nepal were affected by the earthquake on April 25, 2015 including Risankhu village in Sindhupalchok was also the most affected district. The Chhyoiphel Kundeling Monastery was hit hard, it almost completely collapsed. Numerous wall paintings were irretrievably destroyed.
Stone Stupa
This stupa was built by three stone carver families in Kathmandu. It is known as the Enlightenment Stupa [Tibetan name: byang chub chodrten], which symbolize the enlightenment of Buddha in the gazelle grove of Sarnath.
Mani Wall
Mani walls are made up of Mani stones, rocks and pebbles engraved with the six syllable Buddhist mantra 'om mani padme hum'.
Praying Wheel
Praying wheels are filled with Tibetan mantras. They come in a wide variety of sizes. From small hand wheels for daily use to large wheels weighing several tons.
Monastery doors
Every Monasteries has a big wide doors. Tibetan Buddhist monastery doors has a magnificent Tibetan carvings in bold colors. The door have two sides also called the door wings. Each wing has a large brass door knocker with a lion's head.
Bronze Statues
People from Newar community have been making Tibetan Buddhist cult bronzers for many generations which goes back to hundreds of years ago.
