Monastery Doors
Tibetan Buddhist monastery doors in the Himalayas are magnificent portals in bold colors. They consist of two door wings. Each wing has a large brass door knocker with a lion's head. Through the lion's mouth is a large ring to which colored ribbons are attached.
The door leaves are reinforced by vertical and horizontal brass fittings. Door sizes vary between 8.2 x 11.50 ' | 2.50 x 3.50 meters.
