The Corana pandemic in Nepal, like almost every other country in the world, had a serious impact on the whole country. Stores, restaurants and hotels had to close. There were no more foreign tourists in Nepal for a long time. As of 2023, the situation normalized only very slowly but the »pre-Corona situation« is far from being regained.

The Dharmapala Thangka Centre had to temporarily close both its painting school and store.

In order to alleviate the serious loss of income at least to a small extent, we now offer all thangkas at a temporary special offer of 30 selected scroll paintings. The price will include worldwide parcel service shipping fee as well. For a brocade frame, surcharges between US $ 33 / € 30 € and US $ 67 / € 60 € will be charged depending on the size of the thangka.

The pictures are sold up to 30% below the regular online selling prices. Prices and sizes are listed with the individual thangkas

The prices do not include a donation to Kinderhilfe Nepal e.V., which we have been supporting for over 30 years. We would be pleased if you would voluntarily add a small amount to the bill when you buy a thangkas. We will then forward this donation to the children's charity.
