At the end of purification meditation the meditator holds in his hands the symbols of the capital sins of the worlds, causes of all suffering: the pig for ignorance, the serpent for aversion or anger, the bird for desire or clinging, the scorpion and the centipede for the sinfulness of the animals.

The meditator can liberale the living beings from distress by the power of his thoughts.
